The Mobile Integrated Solutions Laboratory (MISL) is housed within the Electronics and Telecommunications (EET-TET) Program at Texas A&M University. The overriding gaol of the laboratory is to encourage and promote embedded product/system development, commercialization and entrepreneurial endeavors through partnerships with the public and private sectors.
MISL activities are managed and supported by a number of the EET-TET faculty to create external grant funding for multidisciplinary undergraduate research activities. MISL also underwrites a wide variety of other product development initiatives including a cooperative program with the School of Applied Science at Kiel University in Kiel, Germany. Faculty members actively involved in MISL projects are:
* Dr. Joseph Morgan
* Dr. Jay Porter
* Dr. Nina Robson
* Dr. Wei Zhan
* Prof George Wright
In addition to promoting and supporting funded research activities, MISL participates in a wide range of Capstone Design Projects while providing access to a number of development and test resources for all Capstone Design teams. The laboratory also coordinates the development and delivery of a series of outreach and recruitment activities. These are
